About the sessions
These sessions will take place at Jupiter Beach. I will send you the mile marker info once you have booked your time slot. Please keep in mind that the midday time slots (between 10am and 2pm) may have harsh lighting depending on how sunny it is. Direct overhead sun can cause people to squint and can make foreheads shiny. This beach doesn't have a lot of options for shade so we have to just roll with whatever happens. It may also be windy since it's a beach session. Please plan your hairstyle accordingly. Also, this is the end of Daylight Saving Time so sunset will be at 5:35pm.
I will have 2 great holiday sets ready for you. You are welcome to bring your own props as well. Each session is 20 minutes long and you receive a proof gallery of images. You can review those and pick the 10 images you like best to be retouched. If you decide that you want to purchase additional retouched images beyond the 10 images included, they are only $10 each.
These sessions are good for up to 6 family members. If you decide to bring more people, there will be a $15 charge for each additional person over 6. Keep in mind that the session is only 20 minutes so they are designed for small families. It is VERY challenging to get photos of more than 6 people in a small time frame like this. You are welcome to book back to back sessions if you would like more time to accommodate a larger group. Please contact me asap if you think you may need more time.
Please also let me know if you have any participants with special needs. I know that it can be tricky to do a photoshoot in only 20 minutes for some special needs participants. I am happy to discuss options to make the session more successful.
Once you have confirmed your time, I will send a confirmation email to confirm the address, parking, and other important details. The sessions are $200. A $50 retainer confirms your time slot. The balance of $150 will be due at your session. Cash, checks, Venmo, Zelle payments, and credit cards are all accepted as payment. The retainer is non-refundable (unless we have poor weather) so please confirm the date and time before you sign up. In the event that we have poor weather, I will either reschedule or return the retainer.
Please make sure that you arrive a few minutes early. I will have sessions scheduled back to back. So if you are late, your session will have to be cut short to accommodate the next family's start time. PLEASE DON'T BE LATE! I encourage you to bring snacks, water, toys, etc. to keep your kids or spouse happy.
Props will be sanitized between clients. Well behaved pets are welcome but they MUST be on a leash and you MUST have an extra person who will not be appearing in the photos to manage the pet so that you can have photos with just the humans.
Your proof gallery will be sent within one week so that you can pick the 10 images you want to have retouched. Those final retouched images will be delivered within a week from when you make your image selection. So you'll have plenty of time to order holiday cards if you would like to!
